Issue with 'show %" Not always present

If you have an existing transaction entry, either split or not, if you go to the split screen, the 'show %' radio button is there. The percentage column is there as well, but not really present until you check the box.

In a new transaction, if you go to the split screen, there is no 'show %' check box, but the column is present on the right-hand side.

This has to be some sort of bug.

This seems to be because until they determine if the split is a deposit or a withdraw they won't show the checkbox.

If you put the net amount in either the deposit or withdraw field before opening the split, the checkbox will be there.

A percent is a percent if it's a deposit or an expense. Don't see where that matters. It would be more consistent if they just reused the window.

And if that is the case, why is the percent column still there, nearly hidden on the right-hand side?

I agree that it should be there and I consider it a bug. I was just relating what I have observed.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear about in my original comment. It is one of several bugs with the new split percentage feature.
