Can a multi-currency account like Wise be added to Quicken? This account could have may different currencies; like Mexican Pesos, US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, etc.
@Fumes21 in a Quicken data file that supports multi-currencies, there can only be one assigned currency per account. You cannot have a single Quicken account that simultaneously holds CAD, USD, MXN, and other currencies. For a service such as Wise, which allows you to hold balances in multiple currencies under one login, the usual Quicken approach is to create separate accounts in Quicken for each currency balance. Transfers between currencies can then be recorded as transfers/exchanges between those accounts.
And to the question of whether it can be an added feature you are always free to suggest it by going to the Home tab and selecting New Post → New Idea so that people can vote on it.
But is highly unlikely that it would ever be implemented.
For Quicken to allow multiple currencies in the same account it would have to treat every currency like it does for securities where each would have a different balance and history (which Quicken Windows US and Quicken Mac doesn't even have for currencies) not mention having things like currency exchanges in the account opposed to in a transfer between accounts as it is done now.
