Is the Quicken development team working to fix Investing Reports bugs?

I have security reports by individual security to report on P&L for each specific security. I save the file with the 'LOCK REPORT' function. Later, when I reopen the report there are securities that do NOT belong. I open the customize report window, make ZERO changes and the report returns the correct values. This is a pain.

I have also reported that the drill-down reports are also completely worthless.

How many votes does it take to fix bugs?????

Bugs are "by count", other than if more people are reporting them, they might get a higher priority (or even be noticed by the developers).

Reporting them in this forum can get attention for them, and is a good idea, but the official ways to submit bugs are with Help → Report a problem, and contacting Quicken support.

On the other it really depends on if it is truly a bug or feature request. For instance, the "lock report" one is definitely a bug. But the "drill-down reports are completely worthless" one could be a bug or a suggested feature depending on the reason they are "useless" to you. If they are working as designed, but you want something else, that is a feature and you need to request an idea to be voted on by going to the forum Home page and selecting New Post → New Idea so that people can vote on it. For Quicken Windows US ideas it requires 50 votes before it is sent to the developers.

And note even after a bug gets an official bug report number there is no telling when or if it will get fixed. The developers do not give estimates. And for an idea the 50 votes are just the first step, the development group has to then put into the planning stage, and again, no estimates.
