Fidelity Investments Identifies FXAIX as FUSVX

Quicken Windows Classic R69.53

Several years ago, I was invested in the S&P 500 Mutual Fund FUSVX. Fidelity consolidated several similar funds into another fund, FXAIX. Since then, all the transactions for FXAIX have been recognized by Quicken as FUSVX. I finally got tired of changing them by editing. What should I do?? Can you fix it?

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To clarify, is FXAIX downloading from Fidelity and being changed to FUSVX in your Quicken file? If that is what's happening, it's possible that the security was mismatched at some point. To check for this and correct it if it's mismatched, please follow these steps from our help article on security matching:

Go to Tools menu → Security List
Select the security with the mismatch from the list.
Select Edit.
Deselect the checkbox Matched with online security.
Select Save.

If that's not what is happening, or the steps above don't work, please share more details about what happens when your transactions download into Quicken.
