Download errors for Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund Admiral Shares (VBTLX)

Question

It seems every month when VBTLX updates a reinvested dividend, Quicken moves the decimal point on the number of shares two digits to the left. For example, instead of downloading 148.2860 shares it downloads 1.48286 shares. The price is correct but the share count is not. This changes my total in the account.

Has anyone else seen this?

Just in case the issue is file-specific, please backup your file, deactivate the problem account, and try adding it as a new account. To add it as a new account, navigate to Accounts>Add Account… and follow the prompts. When you get to the Add/Link screen, select the option to add the account as a new account.

If it downloads correctly in the newly added account, then we'll know it's a file-specific issue, and I'd recommend copying the history from the old account into the new one, then using the newly added account going forward.
