Would you rather host a baking party or a costume party?

Even though I love costume parties, I would rather host a baking party. Baking is one of my passions, and I absolutely love to bake! It would be so much fun to get together with friends, try different recipes, and enjoy all the delicious treats we make.

I'm not really a party person, so my first response is neither. If I were absolutely forced to pick one, I'd go with the costume party because I gain weight too easily for a baking party to be a good idea.

This must be for the Ladies of Quicken Land 🤔 I certainly respect anyone who wishes to attend a Baking or Costume Party, but that's not my idea of a Party. I would mention the type Party I prefer to attend; but if I did so, I'd be booted off this blog so fast it'd make you head swim. So mums the word 😉

I am not much of a party person, but cooking is far more important to me. I make meals (as I am doing today) to bring/share at work. Food is practical as everybody needs to eat. And, I know some of my coworkers are struggling. That's enough of a party for me.

I think a costume party is absurd: You really think I am going to throw away $ on some costume that provides no utility outside of that single party? Am I supposed to warehouse this junk for another potential party? I'll pass.

I’d love to have a baking party! I feel like baking together while having a good chat or just listening to some good music would be such a fun way to spend time. I’m not very good at cooking, but I could definitely help with the decorating and enjoy the activity with great company.

I’d definitely choose a baking party!

Costume parties could be fun, but I love cooking and baking, and there’s just something special about food, sharing it, and how it brings people together.

That said, I’m not really a big party person, and my living space is pretty small, so it’s unlikely I’d be hosting one at home. Maybe if I hosted it somewhere else, though, I could be convinced! 😁
