Retail Purchase Categorization should allow the user to control the category.

Currently Retail Purchase Categorization uses AI to guess at what category a given purchase item should be. For me it 99.99% wrong.

Either there needs to be a way for it to learn the right categories, or there should be an option to not categorize.

One might question that second part, but what I do find useful even when the category is wrong is the memo. The memo makes it easier for me to pick the right category. So, instead of just turning it completely off not having a category at all would help by the very fact that uncategorized transactions are very easy to find if for some reason I miss one.

In fact, I'm going to add to this. If it could be set so that all it does is set the memo, and allow the normal processing, then I could use the memorized payee list to automatically categorize these transactions.

The only reason I can't categorize them without this feature is because normally you only get an unchanging payee name. But with the memo set you could categorize by it. That might be a lot of memorized payees for some people, but I think that is far better than "guessing" and being wrong 99% of the time.
