After doing a One Step Update, my summary window used to show…well, an accurate summary of what had just been updated. For some time now (maybe a couple months), the summary has shown nothing, even though the update does appear to run.
I found a recent post wherein a Quicken expert suggested finding the .dat files associated with the current data file and renaming them (there are two for me) so the program would generate new ones the next time it ran. I did this, and now I do get two appearing in the summary (always the same 2), but nowhere near all of them. So the summary isn't just incomplete, it's also wrong, as I did a One Step Update just now from within a particular account so that it would only update transactions from that one financial institution. The summary told me that it updated the same 2 accounts it told me yesterday, neither of which is the one I just initiated.
The One Step Update summary is a function/window that has long existed, so I'm baffled as to why it's not working now and don't know what has changed. Please advise. Thank you.
I use Quicken Classic Premier for Windows.
