Reauthorization seems broken again

Question

I tried OSU on my brokerage accounts.  I am told I need to reauthorize my accounts.  I authorize the multiple accounts on the brokerage website. When it gets back to Quicken (Deluxe for Windows), it says new accounts are authorized, and the existing accounts are not authorized.  There is no opportunity to link the existing accounts with the authorized accounts.  The existing accounts are turned off and not allowed to download activity.  One Step Update is becoming less reliable, and since it is the main reason I use Quicken, I am starting to think Quicken has outlived its usefulness.

Left to watch a long football game.  Came back and reauthorized my accounts again.  This time I got the expected page to add or link the accounts to my existing accounts.  Everything is working for the moment.  Not sure where the previous page originated, Quicken, Intuit, or my brokerage.  I had never seen that page before.

I've never heard of this message before.  Do you mean the message says "Do not add"?

If it says "Do not add" it means that Quicken has identified the existing accounts as already being connected and, as such, they cannot be connected, again.  So, they should still be connected for downloading.

It would be good to go to Tools > Account List and then review each of the new and existing accounts in question.   In the Transaction Download column it should say Yes with the connection method listed in parenthesis (Direct Connect, Express Web Connect or Express Web Connect+).  In the Last Download column it should show the date and time of the last download.  See the example picture below.

Are you seeing something like this or in the Transaction Download column are you seeing Set Up Now or Not Available?
