I have a Quicken Classic Business & Personal Subscription, and I used to be able to import my ETRADE bank transactions manually. A while back, Quicken changed to some kind of different authorization for ETRADE (maybe OAuth or something). Anyway, it worked for a while, then Quicken updated, and after that I kept getting "Connectivity Problems." Quicken kept asking, "Have you changed your password recently?" I haven't changed my password because I use 2FA using the Symantec VIP six-digit generator. I've tried the "No - Update Now" option and the "Yes - Next" option. The "No - Update Now" option comes back with "Success! Account Update is successful" but even after a successful account update I still get the "Connectivity Problem".
I've tried the other recovery by clicking the "Yes - Next - Continue troubleshooting" option. That option asks me to enter my User ID and E*Trade Password. After I enter my login and password, it reports "Success - The login information for your financial institution has been updated. You can continue with your One Step Update" and shows a "Close' button. When I try to use the One Step Update, I still get the same error, and I'm back to "Connection Problems".
Since ETRADE is supposed to work with Quicken. I went to ETRADE and downloaded the transaction in a QFX file called 10172026.QFX and looks like a valid QFX format file. When I try to import the file into my ETRADE Quicken account using the "import QFX" file (which used to work), I get the error "Quicken is unable to complete your request. [OL-221-A]" with a [OL-221-B] in the bottom left corner.
Now I can't import any transactions from my ETRADE bank account.
I've reported it to Quicken using the "Report a problem…" link at the top of the "One Step Update Summary", but I've never heard from them.
How can I get this fixed? Anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks!
My Computer is Windows and I always update to the latest version of Quicken right now I'm on Quicken version R69.53 Build 27.1.69.53
