US Bank when will current connection issues be resolved

Question

Recent issues with US Bank, past few days, difficulty connecting and thus checks not being submitted.  I note the most recent issue on the Quicken website is August 2026, but there is other internet traffic suggesting I am not alone with the recent issues.

I encountered this connection error message (no error code) issue yesterday (Sunday) and assumed it was because USB was doing some sort of maintenance.  I did not do any troubleshooting.

During OSU this morning I got the same error message (no error code).  Then I tried doing Update Now for USB instead of OSU and all the USB accounts updated properly.

The error you’re experiencing doesn’t seem related to the community alert I shared earlier. So, based on the error you are seeing, I recommend backing up your Quicken data file, then deactivating and reactivating the affected accounts by following the instructions below.

1. Deactivate the affected accounts

* Select the Tools menu and select Account List....

* In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate, and then click Edit.
* In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
* Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.
* Click Yes to the message confirming if you want to disable this service. 
* Repeat these steps for each affected account.
* Log in to your bank’s website and revoke Quicken’s third-party access (if applicable).

2. Reactivate accounts

* Go to Tools> Add account

* Search for and select your financial institution.
* Click Advanced Options on the right side.

* Select Direct Connect, then click Next.

* Enter your credentials and click Connect.
* When the list of located accounts appears, choose LINK next to each account you want to reactivate (do not choose Add, as that would create duplicates).

* Click Next then Done on the last prompt.

Thank you for your prompt response.  I just tried again.  No error code, just a general error; see below.  Additionally I tried account reset and got the error message below.  I am able to log into US Bank via the online website.
