NASDAQ price history not updating

This morning I was doing some checking of my investments and I noticed that the 'Growth of $10,000' wouldn't show the NASDAQ any longer. At first, I had a timeline longer than 5 years, so I adjusted to that and all the rest showed up on the graph, except the NASDAQ. Hovering over that gave me this:

So I went and looked at the security list and price history and see the following, which says that the index hasn't updated since 9/23 (today is 10/24):

I ran a validate and super validate, including checking history lots and nothing comes back as wrong. So I created an empty file, connected it to my Fidelity account and it seems to work in the new file.

Not sure what's going on or how to fix it?

@Michael Jones since the NASDAQ Composite Index updates correctly in a test file but has not downloaded quotes in your primary file since 9/23/26 even after running Validate & Repair, the issue appears to be isolated to that specific security record in the data file.

After creating a backup, you could try removing the NASDAQ Composite Index from the Security List by right clicking and selecting "Delete" and then re-adding it by clicking "Choose Market Indexes". Since this is a built-in market index and not an investment holding, recreating it may resolve any corruption associated with that security's quote history or settings.

In your Security List, is there a check in the box for Download Quotes for the index?

The "Type" should read "Market Index." Can you change that?

Yes. Though as @Sceptic and @tom young noted, and I didn't catch, somehow this index got changed to a stock it looks like. Not sure how that happened, but changing it fixed it.

Thanks for noticing that. Not sure how it switched, but Quicken did let me change it. After doing that I ran a download history and it corrected itself it appears.

Thanks to those that took a look. @Tom Young suggestion was the simplest and was able to correct the issue. It also corrected the issue on the 'Growth of $10k' graph as well.

Not sure how it got switched to a stock and why I didn't notice it until now, but seems to be back in order for the moment.

FYI: No idea how the Type got changed, but for a type=Stock, the data supplier only provides quotes if the security is owned in some account (or is it is in the Watch list). That would be why you quit getting quotes.

Yeah, expect it was in the watch list (see my post to @mshiggins above) and it still wasn't coming down. Also seems to be some type of hardcoding connected to the investment dashboard beyond just the ticker symbol.

But whatever. It's corrected for the moment!
