Hello, Quicken is not updating stock prices right now, 10/26/2026. Does anyone know what the issue is?
Some funds working now. Fidelity funds are still stale.
Same issue occurring with Morningstar portfolio update, so problem not confined to Quicken. No resolution as of 9:50 p.m. PDT.
Fidelity funds still not in here. Correct in the Fidelity app. Most definitely a Quicken issue. Reported when first noticed.
"Update quotes only" doesn't work, but if I update from the security detail page, I get all the quotes for everything.
Thanks Bill. This also worked for me updating from the security detail page. I couldn't update from the regular Investing page.
Not sure what you folks are seeing, but if I click in Investments on a a security, the last choice is Security Details. I click that, then Update upper right and nothing changes. Do you mean somewhere else?
Have you been able to notify quicken yet? The contact phone number I saw is 5 to 5 PDT which is 8 to 8 for me.
I spot checked one fund JHBIX on the Morningstar website and they show Monday's 10/26 close of $13.01 which is correct and Quicken quotes download still shows Friday's 10/23 $13.00 close with no activity on Monday 10/26. All my stocks did update Monday. My problem is "confined" to EVERY mutual fund.
Do you know where Quicken gets their quotes? I always thought it was Yahoo, but Yahoo, Morningstar, Wells Fargo and CNBC all show Mondays 10/26 correct JHBIX close of $13.01. Only Quicken is showing Fridays 10/23 close as "current". I only sport checked that one.
I understand now that Quicken uses Morningstar. If that is incorrect I hope Quicken Kristina will clarify.
Do you know where Quicken gets their quotes? I always thought it was Yahoo, but Yahoo's (in addition to Morningstar's) website are both showing Monday's $13.01 quote for JHBIX. Wells Fargo is also showing the correct $13.01 price.
Unable to download my Fidelity mutual funds.
Came back early morning EDT for me.
Quicken mutual fund prices did not update 10-26-2026. ALL of my mutual fund prices show a last update of 10-23-2026. All stock and ETF prices DID download as expected and show a last update of 10-26-2026
In order to see if the mutual fund problem could be isolated, I deleted two recent prices on one of my funds (JHBIX) that last updated on Friday, October 23, 2026 ($13.00) AND the Thursday, October 22, 2026 ($13.02) price to see if it is an issue with all mutual fund prices for any date or the problem begins with October 26 prices or if it is a problem with every date.
The Monday, October 26, 2026 price for JHBIX should be $13.01 according to Morningstar on line. But after deleting the 10/23/26 price and the 12/22/26 price for JHBIX and downloading all quotes again, IT DID UPDATE THE 10/23/26 and 10/24/2026 JHBIX prices that I deleted…but still did not update ANY 10/26/26 prices (including JHBIX) for any mutual fund which tells me it is not a problem downloading mutual fund prices in general, it is a problem downloading October 26th prices but it will download earlier prices.
Again I only spot checked one mutual fund price - JHBIX. I have quite a few more funds in various accounts and NONE of the mutual fund prices downloaded. I did report the problem as Quicken Kristina requested.
Did not come back for me. [Edited - Readability]
Using the security detail, it updated almost everything. IT DID NOT UPDATE FSSNX and FXAIX. Both Fidelity Funds.
For me, it is just Fidelity. Heartland anf Baron updated.
The security details method (instead of the QUOTES button I have used for 20+ years) up dated MOST BUT NOT ALL funds. Did NOT update FSSNX & FXAIX (Fidelity Funds) which I updated manually to balance my brokerage accounts. I understand from others that Fidelity Funds are not updating regardless of the method used. Thanks for the tip.
There is still a problem that Quicken needs to address. This was done using the quotes button and not the security view detail method.
Seems to be multiple issues:
Stock prices will not update in Quicken Classic since October 26th 2026, Is quicken working on resolving this?
Why are my Vanguard and Fidelity mutual fund prices from October 26, 2026 will not download.
For me, neither Fidelity nor E-Trade updated MFs. All stock positions DID update however.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Is this really an "All Things Canadian (Windows)" issue or widespread to all versions?
Hello @Peculiar_Investor,
Thank you for pointing that out! This issue is not exclusive to Quicken Canada. It's affecting everyone. I moved this discussion to a more appropriate category.
As of 2:35 P.M. U.S. EST both of my Fidelity mutual funds have still not been updated to reflect the prices as of the end of day October 26, 2026.
Thank you for the update,
Thanks for letting us know the issue is persisting! Our teams are still working with our service provider to resolve the issue.
My VG or Fidelity Mutual fund prices will not download either for 10/26/2026. Stock quotes do download
None of my mutual funds are updating. Last update was on 10/23. Individual stocks are updating normally.
Quicken Kristina: Is there any chance at resolving this issue in time for tonight’s download?
Today (10/27/26) my mutual fund quotes at my brokerage are matching the prices on the same funds at Yahoo. Now if we can get Quicken to join the party….
My Vanguard and Fidelity MF price downloads worked today, at 5:05 pm CT
My quote downloads on MF accounts seem to be working tonight.
Thank you for your replies,
I'm glad to hear that many of you are seeing it update now!
If this issue is persisting for anyone, please let us know!
PERFECTO! Quicken life returns to normal. Mutual Fund quotes working 10/27/2026 at 7:45 EDT.
Thanks for fixing that bug.
Any enlightenment as to the cause that you would like to share, Quicken Kristina?
Using Quicken Classic, as of this response my AMCENT MF quotes are not being downloaded. Suggestions? Thx
Midnight Central Time. It updated all my mutual fund holdings other than FXAIX from Fidelity. That is still not working.
@JEHogg
My FXAIX updated timely and correctly on 10/27/26
My Mutual Fund quotes still not working 10/27/2026 at 10:42 EDT
This appears to have been resolved all my stock quotes and mutual funds updated normally Tuesday Evening
Mine is still not correct. Shows a price of $266.84, and last night's close was $268.43
Manually deleted the 10/27 price in the price history, ran a One Step Update, and now it's correct.
Thanks for all the information!
I am happy to see the correct information starting to show for a lot of you.
If the issue persists, please reach out.
October 28, 2026 update was successful EXCEPT for ECSWX. Still shows the 10-27-26 price of $13.79 instead of the 10-28-2026 price of $13.83. Tried to get it to update using the security view method, but that did not work either. Hard to know if this is related to the 10/26 problem or if this is just an isolated coincidence. The Morningstar website (as well as others) shows the correct $13.83 October 28th price.
I'm beginning to think this is a continuation of the 10/26 problem. Tried it again around 9 EDT and still no update…long after Morningstar, Yahoo, CNBC are showing the October 28 price. As important as accurate quotes are to the Quicken experience, Quicken needs to be sure that the updates are working properly and consistently. It is like a bank. They need to be accurate all of the time to keep their customers' trust. It is too soon to close out this problem. We need to be sure it is working properly all the time for every user.

Hello @bbumbarger,
Thank you for reaching out. I would like to confirm whether your prices have been updated since your last post.
There can occasionally be delays in quote updates within Quicken, which may be contributing to the behavior you are experiencing. I also wanted to mention that Quicken uses Morningstar for the Portfolio X-Ray feature.
I look forward to your response and appreciate your time.
Quicken Kade, I’ll be downloading today’s quotes tonight at 745 EDT. I’ll let you know. I deleted yesterday’s ECSWX and I downloaded last night a second time around 10PM but the 10/28 price was still not available so latest quote was showing the 10/27 close. Since I only had one mutual quote that was not current, I thought last night’s lapse could have been an outlier. But since we had just gone through the 10/26 problem, I thought it was worth mentioning. I’ll let you know what happens tonight. I wait until at least 745 so I’m sure to get the days close on both stocks and funds. Also when I checked the Morningstar website yesterday evening it WAS showing the 10/28 close while Quicken was still showing the 10/27 close.
@bbumbarger,
Thank you for the update.
I appreciate you keeping me informed and look forward to hearing whether the quote has updated.
Thanks again!
@bbumbarger
Thanks again for the quick update!
I'm glad to hear that all of your funds and stocks are displaying correctly as of today, 10/29. If you notice any prices displaying incorrectly for an extended period, please don't hesitate to reach out again.
Thanks you!
Same issue…gets hung up whenever it tries to download any updates. Very frustrating.
