Quicken does not guarantee accuracy of downloaded investment data. I have been seeing duplicate companies names and amounts. It has taken weeks to get recognition of the problems and finally determine they could only fix the problem by me modifying the data manually myself. When companies restructure their corporation the brokerage account and Quicken fail to accurately transition and update Quicken downloads. The office of the Vice President of Customer Service has given up on the issue with no promise to fix the date problem.

I discovered this problem in August 2026. My data shows that it has occurred since 2024 based on my historical files. It took a month before Quicken Tech Support would escalate the problem. Basically I found the techs did not understand what I was trying to communicate. Once I got it escalated the constant answer was, recognize the issue, not fix is scheduled. I have used Quicken for years. Its a good product but this is a total failure to fix a problem that basically makes tracking investments on Quicken inaccurate.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! To clarify, are you seeing duplicate securities downloading from Schwab? If so, I see that ticket CTP-17825 is still open. In the meantime, you can use the merge security function to correct the duplicates that download.
