My Quicken makes mistakes in the calculation of Daily gain/loss and sometimes makes wild swings in net worth. Is there an option to check the calculations in Quicken?

Usually, Day Gain/Loss problems are due to issues with price quotes for the affected securities. It could be a couple of different problems.
In a Portfolio view, click on the name of the security to open the Security Detail view, then click on More and Edit price history. Let us know what you see there, and we can suggest what to do next.
