You cost me hours of my time to figure out the issue as well as an hour or two of your support staff to guide me through the changes.
Version updates typically do not require any accounts to be reauthorized. Generally, when reauthorizations are required, it is not something that most users need to do, and Quicken Inc. is only made aware of the issue when users like you and me report it. On rare occasions, when there is a known need for everyone to reauthorize their download connection(s), it is often announced.
Whether your need to reauthorize was unique to you or to the larger user group cannot be determined since you did not provide any information regarding which version you updated to, which financial institution was affected, nor which account(s) you needed to reauthorize. If you would care to provide this information, we can perhaps let you know whether your situation was common to many/most users or if your situation was an outlier.
