For those who work with more than ONE data file……?
Please prepare an 'upgrade' to include the opportunity to back up multiple data files on different day parts……
That Amazon auto-categorization is USELESS! [Edited - Readability]
Hello @T. I.,
Thank you for sharing! I am happy to help.
I looked into scheduled updates and confirmed that you are only able to have scheduled updates for one data file.
The "Notes" section of this Help Article talks about that.
To request this feature to be added in the future, what you can do is create an idea post. This way, other users who have the same or a similar request can vote on your idea.
Our Development and Product teams frequently use our idea posts in order to improve Quicken and implement new features requested by customers.
For the part about Amazon auto-categorization, are you talking about the feature Using Retail Purchase Categorization? If so, here is a Help Article on using the feature that may help.
Also, what issues are you having with the feature?
I hope this helps.
I look forward to your response.
@T. I. please clarify which Quicken feature you are referring to - Backup or Schedule Updates?
I searched for a product enhancement request for being able to use the update scheduler on more than one data file and I couldn't find one.
If this is something you'd like to see added, I'd encourage you to create an Idea post so that other users can vote on it and share their use cases. While that doesn't guarantee implementation, it does provide a direct channel for product feedback and helps demonstrate demand for the feature.
To submit a product enhancement idea, click on this link - Product Enhancements, and then click the New Ideas button on the right side of the screen.
I don't personally use the Amazon auto-categorization feature, so I'm not very familiar with its capabilities or limitations. Could you provide a few examples of what you are experiencing or find unhelpful about it? Additional details may help users who do use the feature confirm whether what you're seeing is expected behavior, suggest possible workarounds, or share their own experiences.
Also creating a separate post for the Amazon auto-categorization feature might be helpful in getting the appropriate responses.
