When will the download issue with Morgan Stanly be Fixed?

I am referring to the ongoing Morgan Stanley Wealth Management OL-301-A / Error 2000 alert (discussion 7976499). I’m experiencing Quicken desktop freezing when I try to synch my Morgan Stanley accounts. Has anyone found a workaround or seen any change?

I just see a spinning blue circle and Quicken locks up

Thanks for following up and sharing the issues you're experiencing with Morgan Stanley.

Regarding OL-301-A and Error 2000, these connection issues are still ongoing, and our team is continuing to work toward a resolution. At this time, we don't have any new updates or an estimated timeframe for a fix.

Regarding the freezing issue you mentioned, this is a separate issue that has also been reported and is being investigated by our team. We have a Community Alert covering this behavior:

In the meantime, there is a workaround you can try if you need to reconnect your accounts:

1. Open Quicken and go to Tools > Add Account.
2. Search for your financial institution.
3. Follow the prompts to connect your account through the normal Add Account flow.

This workaround should allow you to connect your accounts without using the Set Up Now button in Account Details. If you received the OL-301-A. I recommend monitoring the corresponding Community Alert for updates as new information becomes available.
