In the account status section of an investment account there is a Cash Balance in bold black type that is erroneous (should be zero). The linked cash balance shown is correct and ties to the cash account associated with this investment account. How do I get rid of the Cash Balance shown in bold black type. image

The first thing I would look at is why do you have a transaction for 6/10/2043?

Next thing to do is to manually Reconcile your account transactions to the brokerage's monthly statements. Go back in time to where your account register's Running Balance begins to differ from the statement's month end Cash Balance. Compare each of the transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

Do you have "Placeholder" transactions in your register?
Delete those and replace them with the correct transaction that should have been recorded instead.
