Currency Conversion History

It seems there's only 1 instance of conversion amount for each currency. This sometimes drastically affect the account balances reporting. Such that previous balances were somehow affected by current conversion amount. It would be nice if there's some kind of conversion history where the Account balances and net worth reports and charts somehow reflect the actual balances on the previous dates.

    Thanks for this link. 
    As a software developer myself, I am constantly dealing with historical data and effectivity dates (especially in reports).  I am not sure how Quicken structure it's data but I believe it's relatively not that complicated. 

    The real issue here (I guess) is prioritization, especially  if this is not such a big deal to a lot of people. Also if this feature was available a long time ago, why remove it?

    I see. Sorry, the other thread mentioned a "feature" that has been discontinued  several years ago. Must be a completely unrelated one.

    Based on the info in the referenced discussion:


    Quicken US has never had a historical exchange rate table, just a single exchange rate.

    Quicken Canada had and still has a historical exchange rate table, but only the latest rate is used in currency calculations.
