merrill edge direct connect

Quicken Mac Premier 18... who knows how to direct connect Merrill Edge? When trying to add a new brokerage account, there's only Merrill Lynch, which doesn't work for my Edge acct. Or... do I use B of A, since the acct is linked there? My attempt didn't work for that, either.

    From Merrill Edge Login Page:
    Merrill Edge®
    available through Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated
    ("MLPF&S"), consists of Merrill Edge Advisory Center (investment
    guidance) or self-directed online investing.

    Since you have Quicken Mac Premier, you should have access to Quicken Premium Support.

    Login into your Account at: https://www.quicken.com/ .

    Get the Premium Support Phone Number and call them tomorrow, today Labor Day, they are closed.

    Yeah, tomorrow. But I was hoping to solve this today, Labor Day. I know Quicken really well. But when adding a brokerage account, then selecting bank, nothing comes up for Merrill Edge. Only three different Merrill Lynches.

    I got it. Selected Merrill Lynch in drop down menu. Maybe it took a while since the acct. is new.

    I have Quicken 2017. It is a Security Issue.

    Upon 1st attempt to connect with Direct Connect using Merrill Lynch Investments. It declined my set up.

    However, when I logged on to my Merrill Edge Account Online I had a Security Message asking did I want to allow Direct Connect with Quicken. Once I clicked yes, it gave me these instructions:

    Here's your next steps:

    Go back to Quicken and connect to "Merrill Lynch Investments".
    You should be able to view your accounts and download your data.
    You have 10 minutes to connect from Quicken.

    Once your connection is confirmed, we won't show this message again.

    The accounts set up fine. I hope this helps.
