Transfer shares between accounts

I purchased a stock in small monthly fixed $ amount transaction, sort of daily averaging. Once done I then transferred the total amount to Schwab, I quicken I therefore wanted to transfer the shares out of one account into another. In Q Windows no problem, Q for MAC can not even record the average cost price per share, thus showing a Cost Basis of $0. Pl. fix this!

and be sure to vote your support.
In the meantime, a get around for you might be to use the Remove Shares and Add Shares transactions. The Add shares has the ability to record the actual purchase date and basis cost, without impacting the cash balance of the account. So you could record any date and the average cost basis for all purchases. Hope that helps.
