Entering IRA from Stash and keeps showing negative cash balance

    What version of Quicken ?
    How are you accessing or downloading your account info from -
    https://www.stashinvest.com/
    Is this a new account -
    with the Quicken starting balance matching the Stash balance at that point in time ?
    Does Quicken download any transactions - are there any transactions to download ?

    windows quicken deluxe 2019
    I do not believe i can download a statement from stash compatible
     with quicken!!

    Have you transferred any cash into the IRA account to be used to purchase the securities?
    Is this a new IRA account?  In the real world, where did cash come from?
    OR, is this an older account that you're just now setting up in Q?
