How to show category description in category summary report

Do you mean you want to see Category Description instead of Category Name? The Description is just a comment area for you to document your categories. For instance:


 
Are you saying that you want a report using this Description? So instead of "Utilities", you want the report to show "Utilities such as Gas, Electricity, Water, Sewer, and Waste Disposal"? I don't think there's a way to do that. Can you explain what you're trying to accomplish?
