Invoice remains in Unpaid Invoices after receiving payment

I have an invoice that continues to show up in the unpaid invoices section even though I have received payment for it. The payment shows up correctly in the proper bank file but yet the invoice remains. How do I correct it? I don't see a 'delete' function anywhere.

    Did you use New Customer Payment to record the payment? If you display the payment window, do you see the unpaid invoice in the Outstanding Invoices section?

    You will see Jerry Goll shows up as an unpaid invoice. I did receive his payment and used the receive payment icon on the second screen shot. The payment did show up in the bank file but the Invoice remains in the Unpaid area.

    No, that's not the one. Is the payment transaction showing in your Customer Invoices register? If so, highlight the transaction and then enter Ctrl S. Post a screenshot of the Payment Form.

    It's the account labeled Customer Invoices that has all the Invoice and Payment transactions.

    Jerry Goll shows up but Control S doesn't do anything.

    Do you have an INVC and PMT transaction for Jerry Goll? If you have a PMT transaction, highlighting (transaction turns blue) and then entering Ctrl S open the payment form.
