how do you make an account for a loan you made

To add a new loan account I would review this article.

If you are using the subscription version you will need the Deluxe version or higher to track a loan account.

A loan you took out or a loan you gave to someone? Are you the lender? Put "Lender Loan" in the Quicken search box in the program.
