Why does Quicken poll my bank every day?

I have recently begun receiving security emails from my local bank regarding attempts to log into my Quicken account from an "unknown device or browser." The account is NOT set up for downloading transactions
The bank provides the IP address for the attempted access and I tracked that back to Quicken.

I've been getting one these type messages at least once a day for over a week now.

So even if the account is not included in One Step Update, it might still be enabled for Express Web Connect if you had ever used that in the past. Go to the account details and look at the online services tab. Perhaps it's enabled for EWC even though you don't actually use it.

By the way, Intuit no longer owns Quicken. Maybe it's for something else. Did you ever use QuickBooks? Turbo Tax wouldn't be doing that.I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows. 0

This is true, but as far as I know, Quicken still relies on Intuit servers to perform aggregation for Express Web Connect.volvogirl said:By the way, Intuit no longer owns Quicken

I have been receiving the same notice from my credit union on a daily basis and wonder what is going on. I have used quicken for years, before it was sold by Intuit. There is no reason that Intuit would be attempting to log into my account, so assume it is some connection still with Quicken.

I cannot find a way to ask either Intuit or Quicken about this. Anyone have any more information?0
