Discrepancy on Security totals between reports and security detail view

I don't understand why on Investment reports showing all accounts I have 5000 of a particular share whereas on the Security Detail screen for the same share it is showing I have 10000 of the same share. I have tried validating files without success. Quicken 2015 Build 24.1.17.4

    Which is correct?

    If the Security Detail is correct, perhaps you have 5000 shares in a hidden account. Try looking at the Investing > Portfolio Value report, click the gear to customize, select Accounts, select Show hidden accounts, and Select All
