Why are credit cards listed under banking instead of under liabilities like other debts?

Probably for the same reason that Savings and Checking acocunts aren't listed as Assets under Property. Technically, everything in accounting is either an asset or a liability, but Quicken breaks down the common types of account users have transactions in.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935
