How do I enter Capital Credit Allocations for Cooperative?

More detail would be helpful. Is this a co-op apartment building or some other type of cooperative?

Unless it pays dividends and/or you can buy and sell shares like you can with stocks, mutual funds, or other investments, I think it might be better to set this up as an Asset account in Quicken.
