Quicken runs slowly, and it makes all the other programs running at same time run slowly.

Quicken runs slowly, and it makes all the other programs running at same time run slowly.
This problem persists even after I exit Quicken until I reboot. Does anyone else have this problem. I run Quicken Premier 2019

    If you haven't already, I suggest you use Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to determine if Quicken is consuming CPU resources or increasing memory while idle.  If so, you may have a runaway reminder (aka a corrupt reminder). Unless you can identify the specific reminder, I suggest you delete all of the reminders, perform a Copy and Validate, and reenter your reminders.

    Always save a backup (press Ctrl + B) before making any significant changes to your data file.
