Find/Replace for securities

I hope I can explain this so it makes sense.
When I set up my 401(K) and my other investments accounts many years ago in Quicken I set them up as Class -A. I have many different accounts using the same securities but they should have been set up as either -A, F-2, R-6
(ie. Europacific Growth Fd Cl A, American Funds EuroPacific Growth Fund Class R-6, American Funds EuroPacific Growth Fund Class F-2).
My 401(k) should only have R-6. I guess my question is, is there a find and replace for securities? The find/replace that is under edit will not work. I can't change the security in the security list for a different class because that changes all the accounts. I could add the new class and change them manually, but there are too many transactions. Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated.

If the transactions have been entered for the correct number of shares and purchase price but for the wrong share class, you can
-- Back up your data file in case something goes wrong.
-- Create a security in Quicken for the R-6 shares if you have not already.
-- Click at the top of the account's Security column to sort the Transaction list by security
-- Correct the first Cl-A entry to R-6
-- Hit Ctrl-C to copy the R-6 security name and hit Enter to save it
-- for each incorrect Cl-A entry, select the name, use Ctrl-V to paste the R-6 security name, and hit enter to save.
This should go surprisingly fast.
If the price of the R-6 securities is significantly different from tne Cl-As, you may need to clean up the price history for the CL-As.QWin Premier subscription5

Aren't the different classes assigned a different stock ticker symbol ?
and therefore should appear as totally unique and separate ?
