I’m trying to set a category’s tax attribute for a 1099-R Non-Qualified Pension Plan. The 1099-R is from a military retirement pension. There are a number of tax lines, the two that seem most logical however are for a “qualified” pension. Any recommendations on which tax line to use.

    Hello @jess8887

Thank you for taking the time to share your question with the Community, although I apologize that you have not yet received a response.

If you haven't already, I encourage you to review the list of available Tax Line Items in Quicken with a short description of what each tax line is for.

This information is available here and based on the information listed, the 1099-R tax line seems to be the most appropriate.

I hope this information is helpful, but if there are still questions/concerns I recommend speaking with your tax advisor for assistance with determining the best setup.

    Thank you,

    Sarah
