I have quicken delux 2014. Every year when the calendar changes I am not able to open old reports unless I change my computer date to that year.

Reports are usually associated with a Date Range -
and they may be defaulting to "this year" ...
So - update the sate range and re-save the report, possibly with a edited title/name

    1) Old Quicken Patch downloads 2000+

When running an old, unsupported Quicken for Windows version you may no longer be able to download bug fixes (patch files) directly from Quicken.
However, until further notice they are still available here:
    US version: http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatches.html
    Canadian version: http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatchescanadian.html
If clicking on Help / About Quicken does not show the highest Release number available for your version (year), as shown on this webpage, download and install the appropriate file(s) from the link above.

    2) Using today's date in your computer, show us what you have, what do you change and what are the results.
Which specific report are you selecting?
In the US versions, some Tax reports are limited to only a specified number of tax years which you cannot change to go outside the specified selections. Use an equivalent report showing tax information based on a selected Date Range, from ... to ...

Can you please capture one or more images of the parts of your Quicken window showing the issue, sensitive information blacked out as necessary to protect your privacy but annotated to describe the situation, and attach the image(s) here?
The Windows Snipping Tool (available with Windows 7 and up) can be used to capture a partial screen image and save it to a file.  Microsoft Paint can be used to annotate the image.

Please create image files of type PNG, JPG or GIF only.
To attach the image here, start composing your reply in the "Type your comment" box at the bottom of this webpage. Drag and drop the image or, at the top of the text entry window you'll see a row of icons possibly beginning with B I S
Click the "Attach image" icon (the one that looks like a tiny landscape with mountain and sun). It will allow you to select and upload the captured image file(s) from your computer. The captured image(s) will be inserted at wherever the cursor is located in the text.
