Will the Basic version import exist quicken 2017 data

Years ago I got burned by the basic version, which is all I need, as it would not import existing Quicken file from previous version. It was not a failure to import, but the fact the Basic did not have that function, which was not disclosed, nor could I get a refund.

    Hi @"not-a-fan ,

Yes and will become Read-Only, if you stop the Subscription.or choose not to renew.

    See: https://www.quicken.com/support/what-quicken-data-access-guarantee

The Deluxe Version can continue in Manual Mode with advertisements, if you choose to drop the Subscription.

I find the answer ambiguous. As written, is says the data can be imported/converted from my existing Quicken 2017 .QDF file, but as written it also say it will become Read-Only.

The simple fact there is not a comma (,) after the yes makes me dubious. I have been burned in the past when the Basic version did not have the option to import/convert from previous version.

The link provided does not answer my import/convert question either, but merely states I will have access to my data without a subscription.

    One word answer please!
Can I import and convert my Quicken 2017 QDF file? YES or NO.

    Thank you,
