I have been using Quicken for many years. I would like start a new Quicken File. How can I do this?

Can I backup all the old data to a jump drive and start new this year with January 1st 2020 data?

    This Quicken "Article" gives step-by-step guidance on Archiving prior year data.  Please make sure that you read the Notes at the bottom, before you decide whether you want to go down this path.  Many Quicken users continue to use one file for many years without starting a new file.  https://www.quicken.com/support/archive-quicken-info-end-year

    Just be aware that it's very difficult to combine one or more data files.
