Tools and reminders , entering bills and deposits

When I have the account register set to have bills and reminders that are due, show up, they will not drop into the register when I click to enter. I have to go to the Tools/Manage bill and income reminders to enter. When I go thru Tools, sometimes it will ask me if this bill is for a different category then the one it is set up to use. R24.11 Deluxe version
