the account balance on one of my credit card accounts is wrong because the credit amount for the card is wrong. on my old versions i could just change it. on this version that is not available.

    Do you use Quicken Mac or Quicken for Windows? US or Canadian version?
    What version, edition level and release of Quicken are you using?  Click Help / About Quicken (Mac: Quicken / About Quicken) to get this information.
    What version of Windows or Mac OS are you using?

    Why is your account balance wrong?
    Are you missing transactions or have duplicate transactions or have charges recorded as if they were payments/deposits? If so, Reconcile your account register, compare register transactions to your credit card statements and sort out the discrepancies.
    Is the Opening Balance transaction correct? Amount owed on date of transaction matches statement?
    What, exactly, are you trying to do to change the balance? (And what old version were you using?)
