Most likely you are trying to use the Calendar on the Bills tab. That calendar isn't a "full calendar and as such doesn't have the full functionality which includes adding a transaction.Select "Show Full Calendar" to get the calendar you can add transactions to.Note you can also get to this calendar by putting calendar on the Home tab or by Tools -> Calendar (Ctrl+K)5
