printing a copy of a printed check
how is it possible to reprint a check in quicken. The flow from wanting to pay multiple invoices on one check and being able to print that check out seems to be an impossiblity in quicken. any ideas?

Hmm, I'm taking this from memory about 10 years ago, but in the print check dialog where the next check # is specified, enter the check number you want to print again.

Nope, it did not work. I would not recomend quicken to anyone with a choice. we had to find something to keep our records and quicken was cheaper.... we got what we paid for. it certianly is not user friendly and very very limited on what you can do. printing a check is confusing and does not flow through out the accounts. it is a terrible software. would drive a nun to drink and cuss.0

Starter, Deluxe or Home, Business & Rental ?Under HB&R it's easy to pay 1 or more Vendor Invoices. Just go to the Vendor Invoices register, select the New Payment to Vendor dialog from the Actions gear icon. Fill out the form, select the Vendor name, mark the invoices you wish to pay, select the checking account you wish to withdraw from and put "Print" into the Check number field.
When done selecting all vendors you wish to print checks for switch to the Checking Account register. Start the Write and Print Checks dialog and it should show all the checks waiting to be printed.What style checks are you using? Wallet (Check 21), Standard or Voucher checks.
If you need "carbon copies" of the printed checks for your records,- Business size Standard Checks, 3 per page, don't have stubs or vouchers and I don't recommend them for your needs.
- Wallet checks, 3 per page, are personal size checks with a stub that you can use as your carbon copy.
- Voucher checks are the best, IMHO. You have 1 business size check and 2 vouchers per 8.5*11" sheet. Keep one voucher for your records and mail the rest (check + 1 voucher) to your vendor.
