Quicken 2017 Deluxe to 2020 Quicken Starter R26.21

Hi Community. First post so pls bear with me. Just completed upgrade from Q17-Deluxe to Q20 Starter. While validating balances, it appears all bank, asset, credit card and liability accounts have converted successfully. Investment accounts are a different story...

...while the cash balance in some of the investment accounts appears accurate, the total market value (cash + shares X current fmv) does not appear accurate.

I’m confused whether this is a data conversion issue, a limitation in the investment function capabilities of the Starter version of the software or other. Insights or questions appreciated.

    Quicken Starter doesn't support investment accounts.

    Investments starts in Deluxe, not in Starter Edition.

    Follow up on this, though different user:
    I found the same problem. Deluxe 2017 to Starter.
    So I purchased Deluxe Subscriber.

    However after uninstalling Starter and installing Deluxe, it still opens my files in Starter. It welcomes me and has me sign in to my Quicken account. It does not ask for my Deluxe activation key.

    Enter activation code is not available under help. Not needing to Enter the code was just a possible symptom.

    The problem is Deluxe switches to Starter as soon as I restore my files.

    Never mind then!

    I needed to have an active set of file data in place to have the option to enter the code!
