How do I add a tag to a split transaction?

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, I created a COVID-19 tag. Is there a reason why I can’t add tags to split transactions?

For example, in the attached screen shot—PenFed is a split transaction whereas I track principal and interest separately. If you notice, in the Tags column, the word “Split” appears. This prohibits me from adding the COVID-19 tag that I created to this transaction.

As an FYI – the transaction in question appeared in my search results as I have added COVID-19 in the Memo/Notes column.

Any suggestions?

    @RickO - Thanks! This works. The logic makes sense to add the tag at the individual split line in the event there is a desire to add multiple tags to a split transaction.
