V27.1.27.23 Old Investment Reappearing

After updating to latest version and doing one step update, old investments I have long since disposed of have reappeared under Investing tab with fractional shares.
How do I fix this? I have to go and manually remove the fractional shares? I logged into my brokerage site and everything is fine.

Yes, you need to use Remove Shares to get rid of these.
In that patch Quicken developers increased the number of digits after the decimal point it rounds to. The result for some people is that fractional shares that before would be rounded away are now appearing.

Thank you, and some of these have negative fractional shares, so I'm assuming I need to add shares to get back to zero?0

"Cross fingers since I haven't tried it"

Yes, I believe that is what you need to do.0 -
Another possible way to do this is go to the last transaction for that security, and change it.0

More often than not if you go to the last sell transaction for the problem security and click the "Sell all shares" box, Quicken will re-compute and zero out the fractional shares. That worked for 3 of the 3 instances that appeared in my holdings after the Quicken update.1
