Password required

After the last update I am now asked for a password to open the file even though the preferences are set so no password is required. How do I fix this?

    What password are you asked to provide?
    The Quicken ID password?
    Or a password for your data file?
    Or something else?
    Once in a while you are actually asked to re-identify yourself and provide your Quicken ID and password. That should be a very infrequent occurrence.

    I am getting the same thing. It is not the vault password, it is the quicken account password. That normally is only asked after an update but this is almost daily now. Very annoying
