Is it possible to create an investment report that uses Asset Types instaed of Asset Classes?

Currently the only asset distribution reports are in terms of the fixed, predetermined Asset Classes. I'd like similar, but where the rows are the user-specified Asset Types

Thanks. That's definitely getting there. But a key component is missing: The percentage of each Security Type relative to the full portfolio. Obviously, Excel can be used for that kind of additional analysis, but it would seem to be an obvious item to incude in this kind of report.

Unfortunately, that functionality is not available in this report.  .
If this is something you really want to see in Quicken you could post it as a new idea for product improvement.  Just click on downward pointing triangle on the right side of the blue "Ask A Question" button and then click on New Idea.  People can then vote up the idea.  The Quicken team does review product ideas that are posted and the more people who vote up the idea the more like it will be that the Quicken team will put it into their development plans at some point.  If you do post this idea be sure to vote it up yourself.
Unless and until Quicken incorporates this feature, if you want to see the percentages in the report you'll need to do that in Excel.

@NYDenizen  Try using portfolio under the investing tab grouped by Security type, and include %market value in the view.
