Is there a log file or history of changes I made to my register and for bills?

    No.  If you are looking for something like that, I suggest  you look into an accounting package such as QuickBooks.

    By definition, the Quicken register(s) give you that history.  Are you looking to export a register's data?  What other register or bill data are you looking for (eg. change to account numbers, contacts, addresses)?

    But, if you change an item that's already in a register ... there's NO history of that change.
    If a "change log" is a Must Have requirement for the OP, Q isn't the product that can satisfy that need.
