I would like to change the file name when backing up to something more simple, such as the date.

Surely this must be possible? Haven't been able to find it yet so if it is not available, maybe it could be made available? Thank you.

  There is a checkbox to add the date to the name when backing up.

  I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

  What is your data file's name that is so bad?

  In the Backup pop-up window, you can have Quicken add a date to the files name automatically.
