How to setup account for - First State Bank Webster City Iowa

I have a bank account in Quicken since 2013. The bank is now allowing online banking but I'm having problems trying to get it set up for onlline banking. It keeps tryng to set up a brand new account. What am I diing wrong.

    When we setup the Online Services for an existing register, Quicken should enable you to link the account obtained from the financial institution to an appropriate existing register.  An appropriate register is a register of the correct type and is not already setup.  If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/reactivating-deactivated-account

    Good morning,
    I bank with First State Bank Webster City Iowa
    It does not come up in the banks listed so I think I have to use the advanced method but when I do it starts a new account. I have been using Quicken on this bank since 2013 but have been manually entering the transactions. I want to just be able to download from the bank now that they offer online banking and still have the entries that I have now.

    I suggest you try entering: First State Bank - IA

    You can avoid guessing the appropriate name of a financial institution if you're able to sign in to the financial institution's web site and download the available transactions of an account for Quicken.   When you import the QFX file for the first time, you should be able to specify the transactions are for the exiting register.

    As mentioned above - this is probably the one you want to use -
    BUT - be careful, as there are several with the exact same naming text.....
    and the last 2 have the same phone number & website, but different capabilities.
    SO - might try Add Account with each entry - and see which one works -
    Note the slight difference in name.... "dash vs coma vs space"

    As @Sherlock pointed out to me - I may have grabbed the wrong "First..." entry....
    So, you really have to be careful and make sure you are using the specifc one for YOUR bank.... since there are so many with the exact same basic name & state.
    SO - might try Add Account with each entry - and see which one works -
