No, you can't add a note to a reminder. Only a memo.
You could add an Account Attachment. Actions gear menu > Account attachments.
This allows you to attach a document to an account as opposed to a transaction. Since it's not a reminder, you'd have to remember to look at it when needed.
Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.
Since this seems to be an account-level issue (how to reconcile), I'd be inclined to put the explanation in the Comments section of the Account Details. You could then have a Reminder transaction that would also reference that set of comments.
