Check Printing Set-Up

I have 2 different Quicken files and hoped to have a unique check printing set-up for each file. It appears that Quicken saves the latest check printing set-up and applies it to both files. I'm using two different printers that have very different set-up requirements and it is tedious to re-enter the specs multiple times a day. Have I overlooked any internal settings options? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

As you've discovered, Quicken has one global set of printer settings which apply to every data file. Those settings live in %APPDATA%\Quicken\config\WPR.DAT.You could have 2 versions of WPR.DAT and switch between them as needed. If you are adept at command line script writing, you could write a batch file which swapped WPR.DAT and opened Quicken to the appropriate QDF file. You are not the first person who has complained about this.Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Premier Subscription on Win10 Pro.5
